How It Works

Sign Up & Complete Questionnaire
Parkinson’s affects everyone differently, so your Wellthon exercise program is customized just for you. After sign-up, you’ll complete an online assessment, so we can determine your fitness level and symptoms.

Receive & Set Up Your Equipment:
As soon as you place your order, we’ll ship a Wellthon Fitness Tracker and a streaming device to you. When it arrives, download the app, and connect to your TV (using the streaming device if needed). Connect the Fitness Tracker to the app on your phone or tablet. Now you’re ready to go!

Not techy? Don’t worry! We have detailed help instructions, and are happy to assist by email if you get stuck. (It’s much simpler than it sounds). ‍

Why this step is necessary:

Fitness Tracker: A wristband that tracks health information, like your heart rate & how many steps you take each day.
Chromecast: A device that lets you stream video from your phone to your TV.

Follow Your Custom Workout Program
Now that you’re all set up, it’s time to get active! Each workout will alternate cardio, strength, & Parkinson’s-specific “brain training” segments that include “Big” exercises, face & voice training, balance work, fine motor drills, handwriting exercises, and flexibility training. Seated modifications will be shown, as well as “taking it up a notch” options. 

After each workout, you’ll tap to answer whether the workout was too easy, too hard, or just right. Workouts adjust based on your answers, so you’ll stay safe & challenged, never bored.
